Expand a Target and monitor it

Raise the result count of a finished Target, and set up a Monitor that keeps looking for new matches on a schedule, including what a run costs.

A Target does not have to stay the size it started at. You can raise its result count later, and you can set a Monitor that runs the same search again on a schedule to pick up companies that appear afterwards.

Expand a Target

  1. Open the Target and find Mining progress in the right panel. It shows the current count and the result goal.
  2. Click a size button, for example 500. Sizes above your plan's ceiling are locked and name the plan they need.
  3. Click Run Expansion. A quote opens with Current results, New results to find, Estimated credits and Credits per accepted result.
  4. Confirm to start the new search.

The estimate comes from how this list's earlier searches actually settled, so it reflects what a result really cost here rather than a list price. When every channel used so far is mined out, the quote says so: the run may find fewer results than the estimate assumes, and you are charged per accepted result, so finding fewer costs less.

The button is disabled while a search is running. Stop it first, or wait for it to finish.

Expanding never creates a second list. It raises the same list's goal and runs a follow-up search with the saved criteria. If the list already holds as many results as you asked for, the quote says there is nothing to expand.

NOTE

Editing criteria and then expanding are not the same action. Run Expansion always uses the saved criteria; save your edits first if you changed them.

Monitor

A Monitor re-runs the list's search on a schedule, so companies that only become findable later are added without you opening the page.

  1. Open the Target and choose More → Monitor.
  2. On the Config tab, pick a Monitor mode:
    • Discover generates new angles and keywords to widen coverage.
    • Recheck reuses the current strategy to track newly appeared results.
  3. Pick a Per-run limit: 25, 100, 500 or 1,000. Only 25 is selectable today; the larger tiers show a lock and name the plan they would need.
  4. Pick a Schedule:
    • Interval with 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days or 7 days.
    • Weekly on a weekday you choose.
    • One-time, which runs once and stops.
  5. Set Credits per run (cap). A run may spend up to this much and returns what it does not use. The default follows the per-run limit at 5 credits per result.
  6. Optionally open Stop conditions. They are on by default: pause after 5 runs in a row with no new results, cap at 500 credits.
  7. Click Save & Enable.

The Runs tab lists past and current runs with their time, mode, status, cost and result. Run now starts one immediately; disabling the Monitor stops future runs.

A Monitor re-runs the list's saved criteria on the schedule you set.

What a Monitor costs

Monitor execution has no additional fee. A run is a search, and it is charged the same way any search is:

  • Each accepted result costs 5 credits.
  • Enrichment fields added by the run are charged per successful cell.
  • The search reserves its result budget up front and returns what it does not use when it finishes.
  • Qualified results: 5 credits each. Successful enrichment: 1 credit per field.

Credits per run is a cap, not a charge: whatever a run does not spend comes back. The Stop conditions cap (Cap credits) is a separate ceiling across all runs.

The Per-run limit tiers above 25 are locked in the dialog today, and the credits page lists continuous monitoring as a Scale-plan feature.

Check what a Monitor found

Open More → Monitor and switch to Runs. Each row shows when the run started, its mode, its status, the credits charged and whether it is still running. A failed run shows its reason under the status.

New results land in the list like any other result, with their own evaluations and evidence. There is no separate inbox for them.

FAQ

Does expanding re-research rows I already have? No. Expansion runs a new search for the extra results; existing rows keep their values and evidence.

Can I change the schedule without losing history? Yes. Saving new settings updates the same Monitor; the Runs tab keeps the earlier runs.

Does a Monitor run while I am offline? Yes. Runs are scheduled by RenewSell, not by your browser.

What happens when the stop conditions are met? The Monitor pauses instead of spending more credits. Turn it back on when you want it to continue.
