Account and sign-in
Do I need a password? No. Sign-in uses a six-digit code sent to your email, valid for 5 minutes. Five wrong entries invalidate it. See Account and sign-in.
Can I sign in with Google? No. Email codes are the only way in.
How do I change my name or avatar? Open Settings, then Profile. A display name is 3 to 30 characters; an avatar is optional. See Account and sign-in.
Can I invite teammates? There is no invitation flow. Every account has its own workspace with its own Targets, Agents and credits. The Seat Packs on the pricing page add connected channel accounts, not people.
How do I delete my account? Settings → Security → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. See Data and privacy.
Targets and Criteria
How do I create a Target? Open Targets, describe the customers you want, pick a result count and click Start Finding Targets. The full walkthrough is in the Quickstart; creating a list is covered in detail in Create a Target list.
What is a Criterion? A hard requirement, not a ranking. A company joins the list only when every Criterion is satisfied. See Core concepts.
What do the Result pills mean? High fit and Clear fit mean every Criterion is satisfied. Partial fit, Not a match, Evaluating, Not evaluated, Evaluation failed and No criteria say exactly what has and has not been decided. Core concepts has the full mapping, and Criteria and matches the details.
Why did the search stop before reaching my count? The banner names the cause. The Criteria may be too strict, or the sources may be exhausted. The page or credit budget may be used up, or several rounds may have found nothing new. Continue finding resumes; Edit criteria relaxes a requirement first. More in Troubleshooting.
Can I import a list I already have? Yes. Upload your list on the Targets page imports a CSV of companies or contacts into one of your existing Targets. Create a Target first if you have none.
Enrichment and contacts
What does an enrichment column do? It adds one researched value per result, such as employee count or a recent company event. Up to 5 columns per Target. See Enrichment.
Why is an enrichment cell empty? No sourced value was found. The cell is not filled with a guess and is not charged. Use Update Missing on the column menu to retry only the empty cells.
How is enrichment charged? Per result and column, charged only when a value is found. Every research depth costs the same per successful cell. See the pricing page for the rate.
What is the difference between Key contacts and Official Website Contacts? Key contacts finds people in the roles you list, using role keywords you control. Official Website Contacts takes the contact details published on the company's own website. Both write contact records and are billed per unique company domain. See Find contacts.
Why do two companies cost one contact lookup? Contact discovery is billed per unique domain, so several rows on the same website cost one lookup.
How accurate are email addresses? Use Verify email on a contact. Statuses are Verified, Invalid, Catch-all, Unknown and Unverified. A verification older than 30 days degrades to Unverified. See Email verification.
Agents
What are the two kinds of Agent? Proactively develop customers reaches out to your Targets. Welcome and qualify customers answers people who message you first. See Agents overview and Core concepts.
Do I have to publish an Agent before using it? Yes. Smart Outreach only runs a published Agent, and publishing needs at least one connected and bound channel account.
Does a preview send anything? No. Test it out drafts a message without sending and without using credits, up to 30 tests per hour. It uses your latest saved settings, and it does not read LinkedIn posts, so the opening can differ from the sent message. See Preview and test.
Why does my template variable come out empty? A fixed variable with no value removes its whole line, so no gap is left. An AI variable is written from research; if it cannot be filled the message is not sent. See Template variables.
Can my Agent mention recent company news? Yes. Mark an enrichment column as the outreach hook, or keep the personal LinkedIn hook on. See Personalized openings.
Smart Outreach
Who will actually be contacted? The Audience panel lists who will be contacted. The rest are shown with a reason: unreachable, held back by the company cap, or already with another Agent. See Start Smart Outreach.
Does a reply stop the sequence? Yes. Any reply stops that contact's remaining steps.
What do Pause and End plan do? Pause stops the plan from advancing; pending sends wait and nothing is lost. End plan cancels every contact that has not finished; sent messages are not recalled, and credits held for unsent steps are returned.
What does Send First 5 do? It admits up to five contacts and sends their first step now, skipping only the sending window. Suppression, quotas and credits still apply.
Someone unsubscribed. Will they get another message? No. An unsubscribe or a complaint writes a suppression immediately, and any pending or future message to that address is skipped.
Channels
How do I connect email, LinkedIn or WhatsApp? Open Connect, click Connect on the channel card, finish authorization in the new tab, then come back. See the Quickstart.
Which plan do I need? Email needs Starter or above; LinkedIn and WhatsApp need Scale or above. Locked cards name the plan they need.
Are my credentials safe? Channel credentials are stored and used on the server. They are never sent to your browser, and RenewSell never sees a mailbox password.
Why does a connected account say Needs attention? The authorization was rejected, or the account's daily quota ran out. Click Reconnect or Health check. If the card says Quota reached, wait for the next day. See Troubleshooting.
Do connected accounts cost anything? Connecting costs a one-time fee per account, and each connected account pays maintenance every month. Disconnect to stop the maintenance. See the pricing page for amounts.
Credits and plans
How do credits work? An estimate is reserved before work starts and the ledger settles on what actually happened. Failed or empty work returns the hold. See the pricing page for rates.
Do credits expire? Plan credits reset monthly, including quarterly and annual plans. Purchased credit packs never expire.
What happens when I run out? New billable work pauses. A running plan pauses with Paused: not enough credits; top up, then resume it. List building and enrichment you can still afford continue.
Which actions are free? Searching and evaluating candidates costs nothing; a result is charged only when it is accepted. Previews and test conversations never send and never charge, and a monitoring run has no fee of its own.
Data
Where is my data stored? On servers run for RenewSell; provider credentials stay server-side. See Data and privacy.
How do I delete a Target or a contact? Delete a contact from its row menu. Deleting a Target from its list card removes its results, enrichment values, evidence, contacts, plans and monitors.
Can I get a copy of my data? Export a Target's rows as CSV from the workspace, and a company's contacts from the contacts panel.
How do I make a privacy request without signing in? Email support@renewsell.com from the address registered to the account. Support verifies identity and runs the same deletion. See Data and privacy.
